When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
When Bolts Stick
The most common nuisance you will find when working on cars is that nuts, bolts, and screws sometimes stick. If you encounter a stuck nut, the first thing to try is penetrating oil like Liquid Wrench or Kroil. Pour some on the threads that are sticking, and give it an hour or so to soak in. If you are working on your suspension or someplace else where you expect to encounter stuck fasteners, you may want to apply penetrating oil to all the bolts the day before you start working.
If the oil does not work, you may need to use a torch. A propane torch may work, but an oxyacetylene or oxygen/MAPP gas torch will be more powerful. Heat the fastener until it just begins to glow red hot, and then let it cool. This can burn off contaminants ...
