When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Shifters
If you do not like the way your shifter feels, the aftermarket may have a fix for you. A short-throw shifter is one designed so that you may only have to move the shift knob half as far to go between gears. This can help you shift faster and may improve the way the shifter feels, although a short-throw shifter has to be pushed harder to compensate for not moving as far. A good quality shifter will also improve feel by being built to tighter tolerances so there is less “slop” and vagueness in the way it feels. There is no shortage of shift knobs to top off your shifter, from leather to carbon fiber to metal to models with neon lights.
