So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Central identity server
When the number of servers grows in an organization, it becomes very challenging to maintain and keep track of users and associated permissions. Furthermore, auditing also becomes difficult.
FreeIPA like Microsoft's Active Directory, is an open source project, sponsored by Red Hat, which makes it easy to manage the identity, policy, and audit for Linux-based servers.
In order to have easy and complete control over users, associated permissions, and audit data, having a centralized identity server is extremely important. In our case, FreeIPA is the tool of choice.
