I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS)
Does having a vulnerability mean that you need to patch it immediately? There can be a low impact vulnerability, or on the other hand, there can be a critical impact vulnerability as well.
Once a vulnerability is discovered, we need to identify the criticality of that vulnerability, so organizations can know how to prioritize patching them.
CVSS is a universal term referenced to determine the severity of a particular vulnerability, which, in turn, helps the organizations determine the urgency and priority at which they should patch a given vulnerability.
In the previous screenshot, if we see, it has a CVSS score of 4.3 MEDIUM.
