I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Digital signatures
Digital signatures are very important. A digital signature is formed by encrypting the hash of a particular message. The encryption is done by a private key that can be decrypted by the corresponding public key.
Digital signatures are being used in many of the use cases, so understanding them is necessary.
There are three simple steps for generating a digital signature:
- Create a hash of the data that you wish to transmit.
- The corresponding hash will be Encrypted by the Private Key of the sender. This value is called the Digital Signature.
- The Digital Signature along with the original message is combined into a Final Message and sent across the network:
