So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
Vulnerability assessment and patch management are two friends and neither of them is complete without each other. Make sure to prioritize according to your environment and the risks involved. In this chapter, we had an overview related to tools, implementation approach, and best practices related to the vulnerability assessment and patch management life cycle. We also looked into specific challenges that most of the organization might face during the patch management life cycle related to version upgrades. In order to mitigate this, containerization is the best method and it will help us to have a smooth patch management life cycles.
