So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Conclusion
Having a central identity server brings a lot of benefits, and if implemented correctly, it can lower the repetitive work done by system administrators.
We just looked at a very high-level overview of the role of central identity server within an organization. IPA is really advanced and offers a great set of functionalities, such as DNS, SSO, and certificate system, and can also be integrated with Microsoft Active Directory.
There is a great set of documentation available that explains each of these in a detailed manner.
