So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Another way to perform emulation would be to manually download Debian images for the appropriate architecture and copy the files from the firmware to the newly created Debian instance, and then run the web server (or the component you are testing) using Chroot. You can download existing Debian images from https://people.debian.org/~aurel32/qemu/.
