I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting ready
MobSF is included in the accompanied virtual machine with version 0.9.5.2 beta. MobSF is constantly being updated and can be downloaded via https://github.com/MobSF/Mobile-Security-Framework-MobSF. Ensure all dependencies have been installed as listed in MobSF's documentation.
Ensure target APKs and decrypted iOS IPA applications have been obtained. MobSF will not decrypt an iOS application automatically. The decrypted IPA file is required for MobSF to analyze the application and not the decrypted binary inside the app's Payload when renaming the IPA file to a ZIP, as MobSF performs this step automatically (MobSF is open source and can be modified to use the raw binary rather than the IPA).
