So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
To start assessing web applications, it is important to establish a methodology and sometimes even a checklist once you get the hang of things. Understanding your approach and contextual applications risks are key to the success of compromising security controls. After we establish methodologies relevant to our target application, we will start configuring our web testing environment and toolkit to start with web application security testing.
