It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Label command
In Mac OS X 10.3, you can apply color or text labels to icons in Mac OS X just as you could in Mac OS 9. Use the File→Color Label command to apply colors (or Controlclick an icon and choose from the contextual menu); specify the names you want for your labels in Finder→Preferences→Labels.
