When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Taskbar
Mac OS X doesn’t have a taskbar, but it does have something very close: the Dock (Chapter 3). Open programs are indicated by a small black triangle beneath their icons on the Dock. If you hold down your cursor on one of these icons (or Control-click it, or right-click it), you’ll get a pop-up list of the open windows in that program, exactly as in Windows XP.
Control-clicking a folder or disk icon on the Dock is even more useful. It produces a pop-up menu of everything inside that disk or folder—a terrific form of X-ray vision that has no equivalent in Windows.
On the other hand, some conventions never die. Much as in Windows, you cycle
through the various open programs by holding down the 
key and pressing Tab
repeatedly.
