It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Medicinal Chemistry is a scientific discipline at the intersection of chemistry and pharmacy involved with the designing and developing of pharmaceutical drugs. Medicinal chemistry involves the identification, synthesis and development of new chemical entities suitable for therapeutic use. It also includes the study of existing drugs, their biological properties, and structure-activity relationships between the drugs. This book is an attempt to demystify medicinal chemistry, so that budding graduates can appreciate the power of drug design.
