So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

In Chapter 1, Introduction to IT Operations Management in ServiceNow, we covered the architecture of an MID Server. In this chapter, we will explore how to set up an MID Server in technical detail and the prerequisites needed.
Summarizing what we learnt about MID Server, ServiceNow is a SaaS-based application that requires some form of communication mechanism to be able to talk to corporate networks.
