Installing SMART Notebook Software
SMART Notebook software usually is installed when you start using your interactive whiteboard. If SMART Notebook software wasn’t installed when your interactive whiteboard was set up, you’ll need to install the software yourself. I provide installation instructions for the three operating systems in the following sections.
If you don’t have the installation disc that came with your product, you can download SMART Notebook software online:
1. Go to www.smarttech.com/downloads

2. From the Choose a Version drop-down list under SMART Notebook Collaborative Learning Software, select the version for your operating system (see Figure 5-1).
The version number may have changed, but all that matters is that you choose the version for your operating system at the top of the drop-down list.
You’re taken to a page that provides more information about specific software bundled with the download, shown in Figure 5-2.
3. Click the Download button.
You’re taken to a page where you have to indicate whether you have a product key or whether you’re just wanting to download the 30-day free trial of the software. ...
