Creating Basic Objects with SMART Notebook Software

In this section, I cover all the basic objects available to you and explain how you interact with them.

Writing or drawing objects on a page

Digital ink is a type of object that enables you or your audience to add freehand text to your SMART Notebook pages. You can use digital ink to add content to your .notebook files or use it in your class or presentations to engage others to participate (for instance, for a brainstorming session or as an icebreaker). Digital ink software includes a number of different ink types (see Table 8-1).
