Comparison of the vCenter deployment topologies

The different deployment topologies of vCenter have already been discussed in detail and compared with each other. In this chapter, the differences are presented again in a summarized and highlighted form using a tabular presentation. The evaluation of the criterion of HA assumes that all deployment topologies are implemented with vSphere HA, following common best practices for that feature. The evaluation furthermore assumes that the database is always embedded with vCenter Server, except for these topologies, where the vCenter server is clustered using Windows failover clustering.
