V2V requirements
The prerequisites for V2V migration are listed in the table:

vCenter versions |
The current vCenter versions are supported. |

CMP/Converter platform |
The CMP/Converter platform must be deployed to deliver the migration service with the VMware Migration Factory. |

Network connectivity |
The source hosts and vCenter, destination hosts and vCenter, and the CMP/Converter platform all require connectivity to each other. |

VLANs |
The VLANs used by the source VMs should be provisioned on the new hosts to prevent the need for changing IP addresses, which may introduce additional issues. |
|
Capacity |
There must be sufficient capacity at the destination for compute and storage resources. |
