Post-migration activities
Postmigration activities involve the final testing and validation of the correct workload operation prior to resuming delivery of normal application services. The specific activities include the following:
- Application startup for testing. This may be a limited release to ensure that the application is not inadvertently used by end users while testing is undertaken and prior to the formal resumption of application services.
- Application test plan execution.
- Resumption of application services.
- Open the service to end users.
- Resume normal application monitoring.
- Track next backup results and confirm backup success.
