Service composer
The service composer bundled with NSX for vSphere defines a model for utilizing network and security services. Customers can attach and apply firewall rules and security services in real time to applications running on virtual infrastructures through the service composer. Security policies are applied to VMs groups, and the rule is automatically attached with all new virtual machines that are a part of this group:
- A security group can have a dynamic and static inclusion of objects in a container. This container can be used as a source or destination field for a distributed firewall security policy.
- A security policy comprises of security services and/or firewall rules.
