VM-to-VM affinity rules
As we already stated for memory reservations, VM-to-VM affinity rules are also not a direct availability feature, but are a very important configuration detail when configuring application redundancy for VMs. For example, if you have multiple PSCs in a redundant configuration, it is important that you ensure that all PSC VMs belonging to such a redundant configuration are kept on separate hosts within the same cluster (provided that the PSC VMs of such a configuration are placed within the same vSphere cluster).
