VMware Converter agent
VMware Converter requires an agent to be installed on the source server. This agent allows VMware Converter to scan and monitor the disks, hardware, and application services.
The agent is installed remotely, and does not require a reboot except for Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 servers. This reboot requirement does not impact the customer's migration project, as there are no NT4 or Windows 2000 workloads in scope.
