CMP migration process
The migration process using VMware CMP/Converter is a non-destructive process that generates a clone of the physical/virtual machine data in the virtual environment.
VMware CMP is managed through a simple, task-based user interface, enabling VMware Migration Factory to convert physical machines to VMware virtual machines using the following steps:
