Operational services
Operational services have monitoring, patching, log consolidation, log analysis, disaster recovery, and backup services for the cloud management platform. Monitoring takes care of issues with the cloud management platform and helps cloud admins with alerts on the operations dashboard as well as emails through the external SMTP relay. The patching integrates with the external patch repository to obtain updated information. Log consolidation has the logs from the cloud management platform and puts them into a central repository where the log analysis service operates to provide the cloud admin with diagnostic information.
