I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
The following procedure will help you create or import a dvSwitch from a backup. It can be done from any of the inventory views listing the data centers:
- Right-click on the desired data center, go to Distributed Switch, and click on Import Distributed Switch...:
- In the Import Distributed Switch wizard, select Browse... and select the backup (.zip) file and click Next to continue. You may choose to Preserve original distributed switch and port group identifiers if required:
