I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
The following procedure will guide you through the steps involved in creating a dvSwitch:
- Log in to the vSphere Web Client, and use its inventory menu to go to Networking:
- Right-click on the data center you intend to create the dvSwitch on and go to Distributed Switch | New Distributed Switch...:
- On the New Distributed Switch wizard screen, supply a Name for the dvSwitch and click Next to continue:
