I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
The following procedure will help you configure private VLANs on a vSphere Distributed Switch:
- Bring up the Networking inventory using the vSphere Web Client by using the key combination Ctrl + Alt + 5.
- Right-click on the desired dvSwitch and navigate to Settings | Edit Private VLAN...:
- In the Edit Private VLAN Settings window, click Add under the Primary VLAN ID section to add a primary VLAN ID. Click Add under the Secondary VLAN ID section to add secondary VLANs of the Community or Isolated type. Once done click OK to confirm the settings:
