I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
The following procedure will help you create a dvPortGroup:
- Bring up the Networking inventory using the vSphere Web Client by using the key combination Ctrl + Alt + 5.
- Right-click on the dvSwitch you intend to create the port group on and navigate to Distributed Port Group | New Distributed Port Group...:
- On the New Distributed Port Group screen, supply a name for the port group and click Next to continue:
