I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
The following procedure will take you through the steps required to add a vCenter to vMA by using the fastpass authentication:
- Log in to the vMA console or SSH as the vi-admin user. Now, issue the following command:
vifp addserver <ESXi hostname/ip address> --authpolicy fpauthExample:vifp addserver esxi65vc1.vcloud.local --authpolicy fpauth
- Issue the vifp listservers -l command to verify that the server has been added, as shown in the following console screenshot:
