It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How it works...
These user-defined network resource pools can be associated with any dvPortGroups with virtual machines mapped to them. Such custom resource pools can only be used to set bandwidth reservations in Mbps. Reservations are always met, and any leftover bandwidth is allocated to different traffic types based on the relative share values.
