were there to do. He thought about the stakeholder relationships; the
prospect of debates and discussion with journalists and investors,
and recognized that he had little experience in these areas. He
decided that coaching could help him focus on developing skills
such as adaptiveness, relationship management, and political
awareness; but also that it was important to remain true to himself.
