
Claire Hall-Moore adds:
‘With development you need to take on board aspects and
elements that fit with you. You can’t turn yourself into someone
else. Incremental development is likely to fit more appropriately;
you are not going to suddenly change into a different person. As
you take small steps you can take stock and adjust what you
are doing.’
The team grows as well
In Chapter 5 we noted that while leadership involves authority and
direction, it is not a solo or dictatorial discipline. It is both rational
