本書について
CSS2.1に関する十分な知識と、数年間の利用経験を持っていること。例
えば、要素の位置を難なく指定できることや、冗長なマークアップや画像
に頼らずに必要なコンテンツを生成してデザインを強化できることなどが
求められます。このような読者なら、特定度や継承そしてカスケードにつ
いて理解しており、コード内に!importantを散乱させるようなことはな
いでしょう。ボックスモデルの構成要素についても理解し、マージンの減
少に惑わされることもないはずです。長さの単位やその使い分けについて
も理解が求められています。
オンラインの資料や書籍を通じて、CSS3の機能のうち主なものについて
はすでによく理解していること。たとえ個人的なプロジェクトであって
も、これらの機能を実際に試していることが望まれます。これらを深く学
んだことはないという場合でも、角の丸め方やbox‐shadowの使い方、線
形グラデーションの構文などについては知っているべきです。基本的な 2
次元トランスフォームを試してみたことがあり、トランジションやアニ
メーションを使ってインタラクションを拡張したこともあるとよいでし
ょう。
SVGを目にしたことがあり、その用途を知っていること。自分で SVGを
