As you go through the postproduction process for every wedding, keep in mind that these photos should be timeless throughout the couples’ lives. Many trends arrive on the editing scene that look pretty neat at the time, but the problem is that trends come and go. If you apply too many trendy edits to your photos instead of giving them a clean and classic look, your wedding photos may quickly become dated.

When it comes to editing, you don’t want to be too obvious. Make the needed adjustments to make your photo perfect, and then leave it be.

If you would like to give your couple a few photos with trendy edits, you can do so, but make sure to also give them those same shots edited with a more classic finish. That way they have the option to use both kinds of photos.
