It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Be Aware of the Background
As you set up the formal portraits on any given wedding day, it’s easy to become so focused on how you arrange and pose your subjects (especially the large group photos) that you forget to take a look at the background. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen an otherwise great picture ruined by something in the background, such as an ugly sign (see Figure 17-1) or a tree that perfectly matched the groom’s hair and made him look like he had antlers.
Always be aware of what is happening in every aspect of your photo.
