Crowdsourcing is a method that captures the knowledge, ideas and creativity of a large group of people or even a group as large as society as a whole. Through interaction with the group by purposefully posing questions, the organisation can get useful, collective feedback.
This method can be used both externally (with key stakeholders) and internally (with key employees). A good medium for crowdsourcing is the internet or – especially in larger organisations – the organisation’s intranet environment.
