It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The big picture
Managers who take effective action – those who seem to make the impossible happen – rely on a combination of two critical aspects: energy and focus. In their 2002 book, Heike Bruch and Sumantra Goshal found that the most effective managers are those who put their energy into their actions and concentrate their attention on those actions.
