The iBook includes a full-size, full-function keyboard (Figure 3) with two interesting features:
Predefined Function Keys. The F1 through F6 function keys are predefined to handle specific hardware tasks, such as changing the monitor brightness and sound volume. The other six function keys (F7 through F12) are user-programmable.
