Reading PC Disks

File Exchange makes it possible for your Mac OS computer to read PC-formatted disks. It does this automatically without any additional effort on your part. File Exchange, which is automatically installed as part of a standard Mac OS 9 installation, is preconfigured to do this job so there's nothing to set up.

Tip

File Exchange works with all kinds of PC disks, including floppy disks, Zip and Jaz disks, and hard disks connected directly to your computer with a SCSI, USB, or FireWire cable.
