SimpleSound

SimpleSound is an application you can use to select an alert sound or add sounds to your System.

Tip

To record sounds with your Macintosh, you must have a microphone.

To select an alert sound

1.	Double-click the SimpleSound icon inside the Applications folder (Figure 3) on your hard disk. The Alert Sounds window appears (Figure 33). Figure 33. The Alert Sounds window lists all installed alert sounds.
2.	Click to select the name of the sound that you want. It plays back so you can hear it.
3.	Close the Alert Sounds window to save your selection.
