Numbers & Text

The Numbers control panel enables you to set formatting options for numbers. The Text control panel enables you to set text behaviors for WorldScript and sorting. Both control panels are designed primarily for localization settings.

To set number formats

1.
Choose Apple menu > Control Panels > Numbers (Figure 3). The Numbers control panel window appears (Figure 79).

Choose a region from the Number Format pop-up menu (Figure 71).

If desired, customize the format by changing the contents of the edit boxes and selecting a different Currency radio button.
