Getting Help
Mac OS offers several ways to get additional information and answers to questions while you work with your computer:
Balloon Help identifies screen items as you point to them.
Help Center provides information about using installed Mac OS components, such as Mac OS and AppleScript.
Mac Help provides information about using Mac OS.
Guide help provides information about using specific applications.
Application online help, which is included in many third-party applications, provides information about the application.
All of these help features can be accessed using commands on the Help menu (Figure 1). In this chapter, I tell you how to get help when you need it.
