I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Working with Channels
Sherlock's interface includes a feature called channels, which enables you to organize search sites based on the types of information they can find for you. Sherlock comes preconfigured with 8 channels:
Files is for searching mounted volumes for files. It is the only channel that does not require Internet access to use.
Internet is for searching the Internet for general information.
People is for searching the Internet for the e-mail addresses and other contact information of people you know.
Shopping is for searching online stores for items you may want to purchase.
News is for searching news and information sites for news articles.
Apple is for searching Apple computer for product and technical information.
