The Internet Setup Assistant

The Internet Setup Assistant is an application that steps you through the process of configuring your computer to connect to the Internet. It has two parts that are launched automatically as you need them:

  • ISP Referral Assistant helps you open an account with an Internet Service Provider (ISP). This is the part you'll use if you don't have an account with an ISP and want to open one.

  • Internet Editor Assistant helps you add or modify existing Internet configuration settings. This is the part you'll use if you already have an account with an ISP or a direct connection to the Internet.
