It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Speech & Sound
Mac OS includes Text-to-Speech software that makes it possible for your Mac to read the contents of text documents. In addition, if your Mac has a microphone (either built-in or external), you can record sounds. SimpleText supports both of these features.
