Eliminated state

Using the following steps, we can move into the eliminated state:

1. Type dfsrmig /setglobalstate 3 and press the Enter key.

If you need to revert back to FRS, you need to do so before this state. When the migration status is in the eliminated state, it will not be possible to go back.

2. Type dfsrmig /getmigrationstate to confirm that all the domain controllers have reached the Eliminated state.

This confirms the successful migration from FRS to DFSR. To verify this, we can run net share. It will list the shares, and we should be able to see the SYSVOL_DFSR share.
