So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
AIP scanner
In a hybrid cloud environment, data is also saved in on-premises servers. Mostly, it is saved in Windows file shares. Data can also be available in on-premises SharePoint servers. The AIP scanner allows us to discover and apply the same labels defined in AIP policies to data saved in on-premises file shares or SharePoint servers:
The AIP scanner comes as part of the AIP client. It can be downloaded using https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=53018. The AIP scanner uses an SQL database to store the scanner configuration. AIP scanner checks with the AIP tenant to protect the same types of files.
