Summary

PowerShell has become the most powerful script language for Windows systems. PowerShell is very useful for systems management, but can also be an incredibly powerful tool for managing AD infrastructures. Throughout the book, I have used PowerShell for AD configuration and management. Furthermore, I have shared different commands and scripts that can be used to manage an AD environment efficiently. Toward the end of the chapter, you learned how to implement JEA and how it can be used to protect privileges in an AD environment. We also learned how to manage Azure AD using the Azure Active Directory PowerShell for Graph module. In the next chapter, we will look at Azure AD and learn how to manage identities in a hybrid environment.
