What is new in AD FS 2019?

At the time this book was written, Windows Server 2019 had already been on the market for a few months. Even though this book is not about AD 2019, I decided to list down new features introduced by AD FS 2019 as there are a significant amount of changes from AD FS 2016:

• Primary authentication via third-party authentication providers: When authenticating via AD FS, so far, we have only been able to use built-in AD authentication methods such as form authentication, certificate authentication, or Azure MFA as primary authentication. Then, as a secondary authentication, we were able to use any other external authentication methods.
