Azure AD is rapidly becoming a unified identity and access management solution for enterprises. More and more new features are being introduced to Azure AD regularly to improve identity management, information protection, device management, experience, and more. Azure AD is a fully supported integration with on-premises AD infrastructure. Most Azure AD features also work well in hybrid environments. I agree that not every business can shift all their identity and access management processes to the cloud, but why not start with the hybrid setup and use the best of both technologies?
